I've tried Firefox and a different computer still get the problem, but only with the TotallyMoney.com advert when on the My Ebay Summary page. No problem at all with adverts from o2, BT, etc.

There is a property called the z-index which dictates which of two overlapping webpage elements floats on top. Sounds like it may be something to do with that, in which case either the designer of the Flash advert cocked up, or someone at ebay cocked up while tinkering with that page. Option 1 seems more likely

They seem to be messing quite a bit up on ebay lately Obviously never heard the saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" A few weeks ago if I did a search from Advanced Search it worked as usual, but the search button on the results page wouldn't let me do another search, I had to go back to advanced search. At one point the BIN bmp wasn't showing, but that could have been a corrupt file in my cache. I can't remember the other problem I had, except it went on for about a week.
I never see the adds due to Adblock in Firefox.
