Almost 800 miles driven during three days at two circuits... then it takes the rest of the week to sift through all the photos. I must learn to keep up with my shutter finger.

All great shots except the Anglia.... which shouldn't
be allowed on a track

I bet the fire was caused by the driver having a Pentax camera
with a cheap ebay battery in it!

It took quite a while to suppress the blaze. On several occasions the flames seemed to be extinguished, but each time they reignited. It will take more than a dab of T-Cut to fix the consequences.

Great set Simon. I thought I was back at a 1960's Croft

What's the matter with an Anglia. Ever heard of BDA engines?

I had a K-5 IIs on one shoulder and K-5 on t'other. These were all taken with the IIs, some with a Sigma 100-300 f4 and others (when light allowed) with a Sigma 150-500.

I'm used to Colin driving a black Ginetta, seems a rather drastic way to revert to his old colours. Glad to see he got out OK.
Not much left of the body but perhaps the engine may have survived as the fire appears to be more at the back, in any event an expensive incident.

Great photos as always Simon!

Great set - shame about the overheating one
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
