Yes.

And during it my kids plan a family game of 'Munchkin' (a wacky card game involving elves, dungeons, that kind of thing) by candle-light. So that's my Saturday night sorted out. I think I'll be reaching for the corkscrew...

The mother-in-law also says she wants to do it, but is out 'line dancing' and wondered if it would count if she waited till she got back in the middle of the night. Methinks she's missed the point slightly.

Well I would have if I'd known about it.

The media made a big fuss about it last year but with more pressing (but not necessarily important in the long term) matters for them to report on I seem to have missed it. Surpised as we get the Energy Saving Trust newsletters by e-mail, thought they would have made a big thing of it.

Sure - much of Japan's eastern coast either flattened or irradiated, and protests against the biggest cuts to public services in Britain's postwar history. Saving 1/1000000000000 of the carbon dioxide of the coal power plants China built this week has much more long-term significance
