Two friends (American and British) and I (Chinese) went to Kunming, Yunnan last week. Luckily they agreed to see this show that I've always wanted to, Dynamic Yunnan.
The three of us who came from different cultures all enjoyed it very much. It was the highlight of our trip.

If you ever go to Yunnan, please go see it.

Here are some photos.

"Dynamic Yunnan is a grand, original ethnic dance musical. It fuses beauty of Yunnan ethnic minorities dance and songs with the power of modern stage exhibition. Through the artistic director's reorganization and recreation of the essence of traditional songs and dance with the most classic style of folk dance, the richness of the culture of Yunnan minorities is born again on stage with startling effects." - from Dynamic Yunan's official website.

My wife saw one of these shows with friends on their trip to Yunnan (fabulous place - probably China's richest province both culturally and for biodiversity).

Next time I go back there it won't be to play golf !

#2 is quite superb.

Lovely images all. I really like the last one but is it possible to pull back the whites a tiny bit?

Looks like a great spectacular and some lovely shots of it.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
