I have dust INSIDE the focus screen on my K20D it does not affect the photo but is so annoying when you look through the view finder, don't know how it got there do you know how to remove the screen without the special tool.

It is just a little metal clip and could probably be undone with any flat bladed tool. The tweezers are for picking the screen up without touching the main surface. Perhaps if you dropped the tray with the screen in it, blew it with a rocket blower and then put it back without touching the screen, it would be OK.

Cheers, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Search Youtube for " k10d focus screen " & a nice little vid will show you how.

Make sure you get the dust out rather than blowing it further up into the viewfinder too.

Thanks guys I think it was the rocket blower that blew it in in the first place.
