Duplicate search

Hi again all,
I did ask this question some time back but I so far have had no real joy.

Anyone know of an efficient duplicate image finder please?
Perhaps since I last asked something new has emerged?

Suggestions appreciated.

I've never used the feature but I think Adobe CS? bridge does it.

Google is your friend.
Simply search for duplicate file finder, I'm sure there are some out there where you can select what file types to look for.

Google Picasa has this ability and it's fairly quick though I haven't used it for a year or so.

Hi all,
I have found one that I can recommend. It's called 'ViaiPics'(the icon is a foxes head) it works a treat, very clever. It is free to download and keep to use, only asking for a donation if you so wish. Definately worth a try. I would be most interested to learn of your opinion if you decide to try it.

Nah - the name is Visipics - I'm having a look at it as it takes so long to hunt out manually any duplicate pics

How do you end up with duplicates to begin with or is that a silly question?
