Duel HIgh Speed Sync?

Effective shutter speed using flash is determined by the duration of the flash. HSS really just peppers the exposure with light and at a far lower output than normal flash. The cameras shutter speed is largely irrelevant. Doubling the output by using two guns will not give you faster recycle times.

You don't need HSS for such pictures. Using HSS actually makes it worst. The flash duration is so brief in normal mode that it will "freeze" just about everything.
If you get some "ghost" image using regular flash, reducing the ambient light will solve the problem.
Using a black background, you could also use the strobe in pulse mode to get a "sequence" that shows the evolution of the movement.

Shutter speeds below1/500th just are not fast enough to capture sharp kickboxing images, even with regular flash. HSS helps solve the lighting limitations of the 1/180th max flash sync speed, by allowing faster shutter speeds. So,. If I could get two Metz flashes to HSS together , I would have more light, Ok the recycle times will be the same, but it is the potential extra light and additional angles that I could use that I am interested in.
I was just wondering if anyone knows if a duel P-TTL flash cord is available?

Shutter speeds below1/500th just are not fast enough to capture sharp kickboxing images in relation as to where i can position the flashes. If I could get the flashes in a position to the output, yes i could freeze the action. I just thought HSS was worth exploring.

If you are thinking why do I wont to do this? Simple, this way I can double my light and increase my recycle times.
Many Thanks
