Nice shots. I especially like the last one, the dark (despite the street lighting) and rain give the shot an atmosphere that makes the figures look almost real!

Lovely shots, especially the monochromes. I have often photographed along the quays, but usually during the daylight. Even then, the famine statues are moving.
I will be in Dublin in June (around Midsummer's Day), may have to stay out pretty late to emulate these!

I hope you have better weather for it than i did. i couldnt get a shot of the front of the tall ship because of the wind and rain. I was lucky the statues were facing the right way Lovely shots, especially the monochromes. I have often photographed along the quays, but usually during the daylight. Good job braving the elements that night, and you did well just to keep the water off the lens. The mono images work best for the ship because the colour casts don't really work with the subject I feel. I love the colourful climbing ring things in colour though, very effective.

I often think that i should visit Dublin too, in a touristy type of way. See the sights that its kind of known for. I was lucky in a way, that theses shots were all along the Quays (the Liffey) and all quite close together.Super shots

Thanks Nigel, i presume the casts came about from long exposures with so many varied neon and other light sources, I probably should have colour balanced them. Something to keep in mind in the future.Good job braving the elements that night, and you did well just to keep the water off the lens.
