The setup was kinda funny, because i don't have a tripod and i stabilized the camera with improvised stuff.
Basically i put a frying pan in the sink, pink kitchen cloth to cover the background and the sink, external flash( i had to move it around to find nice lighting) and k5 with FA 100/2.8 macro.

Kinda funny setup, but it worked great
Next in the list is to try to capture drop in the drop.

Maybe better cloth would make a better background too. And replace the frying pan with see thru lunch box.

Makes the acheivement even more noteable.

How did you time the shot, ie how did you anticipate the drop, or are these the only two from 2000 (the number I'd probably have to take)

i took probably 100-120 shots and these the only two i like that much i want to show. Maybe the count of success shots is about 5 or 10
Timing is... a bit tricky. Just stare at the water and after... well maybe the first 30 or 40 shots you'll probably get it Maybe it could be done much easier with stop watch and measure the time when the water falls exactly and put the camera in interval shooting, but i was using the built in flash to trigger the external and the battery of the camera was almost dead so the charging was lot more than the interval between the drops.

That was even more annoying than previous one...
This time i was throwing coins in a transparent bowl full with water, again surrounded by kitchen cloths.
One YN-560 triggered by built-in flash, which was covered by sheet of black paper. Took me 40 or 50 coins to get the focus right
