Drifting

Just spent a couple of minutes having a go at producing something half decent from some shots I took a few weeks back at Mallory for the PPC Show. Our club were running the autotest so only had time to grabbed a few shots, most of wasn't too happy with. So some big crops and B&W conversion seemed to be the way to go.

First one was shot from the control tower with the DA*200, the other two from the infield near the chicane with the 16-45. All processed in Aperture3.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm quite used to panning shots but the drift cars tent to be changing attitude as they com past too, which adds a bit more of a challenge and interest. The cars themselves were a far cry from the glamour of the 'Fast and Furious', more Ebay and zip ties - all good fun though

No 1 is a good depiction, and well caught.
