Dragonfly

I don't generally see dragonflies, this one recently decided to sun itself in my garden. This was taken handheld with my 645D & FA80-160 (cropped in PP), I would have used a tripod had I'd known it would be there for about ten minutes. From what I can gather from the web, it looks like some variety of Common Darter:

Yes. Common Darter and it was quite well behaved for you too.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
