They're very good Barrie. Missed yet another DPS assignment - this time Irene and I were away in Bristol and then Worcestershire.
See you next Saturday when we go to the Edinburgh Fringe.

What a great set! The reflections are really good and I love the saturated look to them. Great shots
Well put, and I agree entirely

Thanks gentlemen.

Looking forward to it, David.

I really like the first scene but I think the composition could be improved by the exclusion of the foreground grass and stream and with a bit more space above the turbines. Good but potentially excellent.

The second is very pleasant but I would crop to a panorama to tighten up the interest in the scene; I find the dark band at the bottom detracts as does the vignetting in the upper corners. The highlights look a bit too bright but recoverable.

The third is alright but would be much improved by gentle light.

With the fourth I think the subject is good but the background boats interfere too much and the highlights are too bright.

Very nice set Barrie

Spot on from Dr. O. I quite like the stream/water inlet, shame it wasn't separated from the grass. As it is I'd crop them both out

Is this better for 1 and 2.

I'm not sure what DrO. means about 3? But I agree with his comments on 4

The glistening highlights on the edit of the first one, are much more noticeable to me. In a good way.

I like the balance of the second more too. Better with more sea than sky

love the reflections on the second one but I think I would clone the dark line on the left bottom

With 3 I mean I like the idea of the shot but I don't think the light gets the best from the scene. I think it would work with dawn light but it seems a bit harsh here with all those shadows. First two shots will look good big.

Thanks DrO. It was taken around 08.00 but on the UK east coast, hence the shadows. It may be possible to adjust it in LR or PS, but with more skill and patience than I have

I'd like to see the same shot around 05:30.
