Lovely Kris. Great buttery yellow and nice and sharp too. I think the crop might benefit from a small adjustment, the main flower seems quite a bit too far down the frame, and very slightly too far left.

As well as the flower, the background and bokeh are good value with this lens too Kris.

Beautifully done, Kris. I particularly like the way the shade of green compliments the yellow...I know you arranged for it to do so.
Also jealous of the silken bokeh!

Andrew

Kris, this is a nice image. The gap between the flowers is a slight, minor niggle for me, but its subjective. Nice one.

Paul... I would have preferred the OOF flower to be lower in the frame but I couldn't get the angle right without the foreground flower being too oblique. I keep thinking about photoshopping it down a bit but hit the old question as to when editing becomes faking! I did start working on it last night but PS crashed taking half an hours work with it and it was too late to start over.

I was gonna' mention whether you could do this, Kris. I think it is perfectly reasonable to do it with an image like this. I think the end result will be worth it.

Ohh yes definitely move them closer if you can. If you have CS4 a perfect opportunity to use the contextual resizing
