Does Llandudno work in B&W?

I'm just looking through a few old shots and trying out some B&W conversion which is not something I've done very much of...

would be interested to hear opinions on this one?

I think it works pretty well: I love that sky!

Seconded. That sky gives the photo a marvellous claustrophobic feeling.
