Hope you do not mind Thomas had a quick play with the second one, I will remove it if you wish.
I straightened the horizon, and a quick colour adjustment.

All nicely exposed, with lovely colours. The swan is a bit hard to make out though I'm not sure if the trailing flash added anything to the first shot.

The trailing flash doesn't make any difference compared to slow shutter flash if there is no movement in the picture.

There were plenty of swans around at the time so I was hoping to get a few more in the shot with the trailing flash. I have never used it before so I thought I would give it a go. I like the swan trail on the second one, only subtle but adds a little interest. I will go out tonight and try a few more things out.
