Do angles matter?

Different appproach to seeing the 1st T.
Catching action is often seen from a spectators point of view. Why should it be? This shot is from that point of view, but I consider it an unusual shot. Do you?




To miss a put, and show it! Again, better because of the track of the ball is recorded in the sand.

Just out of curiosity, does the golf club employ people to smooth the 'green' between succesive groups of players?
I like both pictures, and I guess the strong light (and short shadow to No 2) confirms where you are!

It just shows that wherever we are obliged to stand and view, good photos can still be achieved.

I loathe golf with a passion but I like these shots, especially the second one.

I don't play Golf or Cricket but after photographing a lot of competitions, I admire the skills of the players.

They are cracking sports pictures. The fact the ball is included in shot lifts them to professional level.

Nice shots K10, brought back some memories, In 1975 I sold my golf gear and gave up golf to buy more camera stuff, one of my first jobs was photographing a 3 day Italian conference in Aviemore Scotland, the first day's job was sitting at the first T taking photos of the golfers swings, I worked most of the night and developed all the photos
in B/W for sale the next morning, over the next 2 days there were other events for the ladies, cooking, diner dances etc. I made about a grand in the 3 days and agreed to donate 10% to the Italian club, a nice job to get.
