Just had a play with some jack pike camo tape, this stuff sticks to its self and at £7 it was worth a punt.

It's not very well camouflaged!!.. I can see it in the kid's hands!!

Are you going on a photoshoot in downtown Baghdad this weekend then??

Yes it works fine except for leaving a residue on your lens when you remove the tape.
Another option is cameo neoprene and velcro tape.

No residue with this stuff, all it sticks to is it's self
