Displaying Prints

I can't remember the last time I hung one of my prints on a wall, aside from pics of family.
Actually I tell a lie, last ones were up for a few weeks in my Camera Clubs Annual Exhibition but that wasn't at home so guess it doesn't count

So there's a tip for you, join a Camera Club, then you can share prints with even more people.

And what a confidence boost when you have a print accepted for such.

Actually Stan, last years Exhibition I had several acceptances including three 1st placings two 2nd placings, three 3rd placings, two Highly Commended and also Best Colour Print in the Exhibition, that may sound like and achievement but 7 of those were in the Natural History section, a subject in which I have very little competition from other club members add to that the fact we are quite a small club it's relatively easy to get something accepted.

The print that won best in exhibition has done well for me in some competitions and poorly in others, at the end of the day it just comes down to a judges personal preferences.

But yes, it is very gratifying to see ones work hung on a wall in a public space
