display image

hi all
i took a photo of the moon last night
and when came find the photo settings info
the camera says camera cannot display this image
any ideas

you shut the camera off before the "noise reduction" was done it's thing and you corrupted the file? just guessin...

it showed the photo on the camera when i took the photo
yesterday and can view it on the computer with the card
in the computer but when i tried to view it today on the camera
i got that message

your computer must've altered the file when you opened it and closed it.
the camera won't display any images unless it shot them, but an image that has been altered (even just opening and re-saving a jpeg does change the file) will get treated like a foreign file.
next time copy the files off the card, then open the copies if you want the originals to display in camera...

ithink i know what i did i viewed it
on the laptop and when i closed the viewer
down it said saving file must be vista
that did it

Stop doing that... if you're shooting jpegs and your laptop is recompressing the files everytime you open them, you're losing image quality! big time!
