Thanks Prieni That was NOT my intention. But i rest easy, knowing a couple of members over here can enter some macro work which will make my picture fade into to backround But it is nice to see the best work of everyone over here. It should make us all proud, right :

Hey, guess what I was doing this morning - lying on the floor, taking pics of a dew drop on the tip of a blade of grass. But yours has much nicer lighting.

Hey Dirk,
it's not as easy as you make out. If I would search and submit today I might have changed my mind comes Sunday (or Tuesday or Wednesday or ...).
Guess I have to roll the dice when to submit.
Good luck,
Prieni
Make your entry today, and later, when you change your mind, feel free to edit your entry and change the image so many times you want. Doing so, all we will have the good luck to see more than one of you very good photos. This is valid until Sunday MIDDAY UTC.Hey Dirk,

Really great pictures this round. I wonder how on earth Dirk is goiing to judge this round So many different themes are shown here.
Maybe he should pick several winners and organise a shoot-out between them
Good luck to you Dirk
Martin.

I couldn't decide what to enter, so I've just created something quite unlike my 'normal' pictures - a "60's Paris" style picture, or at least I hope that's the eventual effect ! I'm pleased with it, so therefore it must qualify for the competition.

Hope you know what you are letting yourself in for. Asking to break the submission record I fear for your mental health
Well, you are asking for it...
Good luck,
Prieni
Edit: Hey Martin, that might fend the masses off and save Dirk. Great first entry!
