I tried to play around with out of focus shots a few weeks back. It wasn't as easy as I'd have imagined.

So why does it seem so easy when I don't want out of focus shots
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Question for DrOrloff: I've recently been playing with deliberate blur. How do I post one for you? I'm a new member and don't know the ropes yet.

Welcome.

The easiest is to link them from a photo hosting site. I use flickr.

I like your set, especially the main image!

To link the image just go to post a comment, click 'Image' (in the row of 'buttons' under the comment box) and paste the URL of your image between the two bits of bracketed text (get the image URL by right clicking on it).

PS for Pentaxophile: Re posting the blur pic you like, I did what you said, but the url doesn't come out above as a usable link to the pic...Any suggestions? Thanks, Blue Buggy

The link should end up with (img) and (/img) at each end- looks like you deleted some letter

There are instructions in the Your Photos forum.

Thanks, guess I didn't click between the two sets of parens; did it right this time I think. Anyway, the pic is in my portfolio, I'm just practicing a new skill here...
