I've always set my K20 to use dust removal on start up and have never hac
had any dust on my sensor in 15 months of professional use.
I think a wet clean is in order.

Yeah, I have dust removal set for start up. I'm worried these may actually be stuck in one position as I repeated the removal several times and the photos taken after follow the same pattern. I've always set my K20 to use dust removal on start up and have never hac

Can you recommend any kits for wet cleaning or should I contact a dealer? I'm not sure how confident I am about doing it myself.
I love cameras, a lot still to learn!

I have the same thing crop up regularly on my K-7 too although mine are only visible at extreme close up and appear as small round dots surrounded by a halo of white, I'm starting to contemplate sending it to Pentax for a service.
But for now I use these from SRS

Wet cleaning is easy. enable mirror lock up and just drop some fluid onto the swab and wipe across the sensor a couple of times. The fluid will evaporate and bob's your uncle.
Some airborne particles are greasy and won't shake off the sensor so wet cleaning is the only way. There won't be any damage, don't worry.

As above, there's nothing to be concerned about wet cleaning. The sticky hard to remove stuff is usually pollen.
I have used, in the past, Eclipse fluid and pads.
There will now be 20 or so posts recommending a huge range of equally effective remedies!

Haha, no need I have one at home!
Thanks for the advice guys. I'm between jobs at the moment so any kind of expensive remedy would have been impossible.
