Tim, is this cropped? What's the lense to subject distance?
Thanks.

JC,

It is a 100% crop, taken with my DS and Tamron SP 90mm macro lens f5.6 at 1/90 ISO 400 (hence a bit of noise). Handheld, range about 30 cms. Not the sharpest image, but I liked the way that dinner wrapped up in the silk resembeled (i think!) a pig.

Spent sunday loafing in the garden and shot 500 (!) pictures of various bugs, flowers and birds. Working my way through them. Here is another. Same lens, f9.5 1/125 ISO 200, centon FH95 flash, universal omnibounce diffuser, a bit of levels in C1, a weeny bit of sharpening in PSE, 100% crop, lens to subject is about 6" (15 cms)

Biting off more than one can chew?
