Diffusion Confusion

I just got a comparison portrait shot back - ISO 200, f5.6, 1/125 sec. Pentax 280 TTL flash through a Super Program using a 35-70 f4 zoom at 50mm.

One shot is nice, the other looks like it is out of focus - not nice - but good if you're shooting Canon?

Going to try spritzing it with glycerin and doing some Bowmore till I see double and then blowing up some floweres or whatever Don said. - it's his fault.

Then I'm going to add the filter to the ever-growing stained glass piece I started in another thread.

Thank's for all the good input - this is one great forum!

Skoal!

I think I meant spritz the flowers not your filter or your camera or your scotch....I think I need to post a liability waiver if I'm to continue giving out advice....
Do NOT drink scotch, and blow things up while taking pictures....your pictures CAN and most likely WILL be used in court against you.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
