different flashguns

I have a Pentax 360 flash and have a Cactus 6 flash with two triggers. I want to experiment with "Splashes" etc so was thinking of this set up:

360 on trigger tissue paper object K-3 (K-70) with cactus 6 flash set as master

The tutorial on Adorama look easy but use one system, their own. Was going to start with something simple, fruit in a bowl etc. would this mixed system work ?
