Thanks Macca. It was a very foggy morning but I still did'nt expect such prominent streaks of light from the streetlight. I was pleasantly suprised with that one.

I actually like the most all of the distorted ones (about three of them from all of your posts). The second photo on your initial post would definitely look good on a big print!

I do like distortions at 10mm I have to admit, but as we've seen here it's a definitely a personal thing

Bob, every time I glance at pic # 1, it reminds me of the video for Ultravox's "Vienna"!!

I certainly cannot judge or comment!

Thought I'd add another here (quite pleased with this one):

I've generally shied away from taking shots of the Chester clock as I'm always after something different than what we 'Cestrians' always see in papers and magazines etc. Though with the forced perspective the Sigma 10-20 can acheive and the black and white 'look' that I'm really enjoying using these days, I think I have achieved a different slant on the clock and Eastgate St.
I love the contrast on the cobbles.

Hi Bob, I haven't commented previously because these aren't of a style that I have personally appreciated. However, the last 3 are much more subtle. The very last one especially. I think the high key arch and the view through it is gorgeous. I would like a bit more detail in the clock face, and the building to the right. But thats just me

Nice set and I like the idea of you sitting on a street bench watching the world go by in pouring rain. The black and white treatemnt is ideal and the converging verticals don't bother me in the least - this is an obvious wide angle feature.
The blown highlights are a problemn though and for that reason #2 is my absolute favourite, it has the least blown areas.
The night shots are effective too.
