Now that we have a few K-5 users amongst us, can someone have a look at this and see/say if it's true or bull****? Maybe do a test?

The new firmware may have sorted it, if the symptom actually exists.

its alsointeresting the noise looks about the same as d7000 and 7d and d300., also the d7000 shows the hot pixel problem.

also shows they use camera nr in the tests.
