Steve, I'd try using a much wider aperture if I were you. It would allow you to use a lower ISO and higher shutter speed (both good), but most importantly it would throw the background out of focus, which would improve these shots - especially the first.

From the EXIF data, the first was already at f/6.3, ISO 200, 160mm Not a great deal of room for maneuver as the largest aperture on the 50-200 is f/5.6 at the 200mm end.
2nd and third were at f/8 - so there's a bit more latitude.
