Very nice. Just goes to show you don't need the latest and greatest to get something good (just don't tell the missus )

The K10D is/was probably a better camera in some respects than the K20D or even the K7, so no you don't need the latest
I still have my K10D, it's very "dear" to me
Nice shot Brian, good choice of aperture.

A great image. As Alan says, the K10D is better than a K20 or K7. It has a CCD. I also still have mine.
Best regards

And a lovely capture it is too, nice.
My K10 is still my first choice camera and I use it constantly. If some money came my way it might spend more time on the shelf as I would have no hesitation in buying another Pentax DSLR.

Not just sport, I felt guilty eating a Venison Burger a couple of weeks ago

What makes me sad isn't the deer that is shot for food having had a relatively good life but all those battery chickens et al sentenced to a life of misery to provide our food supply.AuraTodd wrote:

But I fear we're about to get a yellow card for wandering off topic here so I'll say no more.

That's a beautiful close up on the head. We have a lot in the forest round here, but I have never yet managed to catch one on camera.
