I much prefer the B&W, but I think it could do with more contrast.
Not sure if it would be better with or without the rust colour though...

Got to agree with Tyr, although I do like the rusty axle.

I must say that I too, like the colour version in this case. Especially as it relates to decay etc.
With colour, we get to see the moss and mould along with the rust.
This is actually a very nice shot.

I must admit I prefer colour myself. In general I cannot really understand why we should do all these mono conversions.

Maybe the colour version is better? Also slightly cropped to get rid of the beam in the left side.
Trying to learn about selective colouring, so any comments would be welcome.
