Not working? It is working, just not in the way you want it to. It has become a generator of abstract art. Possibly unique, definitely interesting. Some people go to great lengths to produce abstracts via ICM or other techniques. You just need to press the button. Use that camera from time to time, there are pictures like those you've posted hanging in hotels and galleries around the world!! then the 1st*D will become my first non-working digital SLR on the display shelf

Sad that it’s not working But As above u never know what u might get if u point it at a landscape/seascape could be an unexpected masterpiece 🙂

My istDS suffered a similar fate and went to someone doing SDM screwdrive conversions.
