It's a great pic Sometimes the best ones are the ones you don't plan for.
Personally I'd try a square crop with the ducks (if that's what they are ) on the bottom third.

Think I still prefer the original, maybe because the ducks are smaller in the frame?

Had the 250-600 on the tripod already which helped with the panning, as for the SR must admit it's always been on when using that lens, so no idea how well it's compensating when on the tripod.That works so well!

Bucks.
Just as I decided to pack up to go home, there were some ducks flying across just above the water, so thought I would try and grab a shot. Knowing it would be technically poor I was just hoping for something 'arty' and this is how it turned out. As it happens I really like this, and as luck would have it no cropping or PP
