The first was taken with the Kx and 18-55 DAL 1/160 F/7.1 55mm ISO 800 The second, with a messy background was using my brand new 55-300 DL. 1/500 f/5.8 300mm ISO 800

Great photos.
The top one is a male beautiful demoiselle and the bottom is a southern hawker female.

Second one is a corker, have you tried it 90 degrees CCW as I found my head naturally wanted to tilt to take it all in properly?

I think its a female Emperor Dragonfly Sally, dont quote me on that though.
