Damhouse Summer Garden Party

It was the Damhouse Summer Garden party today, so we went over to have a look. Sadly, strip out the stuff we would expect to see on 1940s weekends or classic car shows and we are left with not very much. Fortunately we had a pleasant over lunch chat with friendswho are sometimes Pentax users.

There were quite a few people milling about, especially after the pasties and pies.

There were also a few Mustangs there, previously photographed so I made a few very selective shots of details.

And a picture of Damhouse itself, looking good in some brilliant direct lighting.

Camera was the Pentax K-3 III with SMC DA 18-135mm lens.

Did anyone get out and about somewhere interesting today?
Best regards, John

The house looks splendid.

I have not been anywhere interesting this weekend - just rationalising some of my photo kit and inspired by other forum members, pulled together enough kit to make a negative scanning rig using a Novoflex bellows and stand and macro stage. I will need to fabricate a negative holder (or buy something).

Nowhere more interesting than the usual evening dog walk. But that is getting more interesting because a roe deer is making a regular appearance just after sunset. So far, I've not managed a decent photo due to the poor and declining light and an animal that doesn't want to stand still for very long. Here's the best so far, taken this evening.
