Nice and sharp with a good depth of field. You'd better not leave
the 16-45 at home the next time though 60mm isn't very wide

Nice and sharp and good colours too. My initial thoughts with this lens is that is renders colour nice and bold. Or maybe that is just the way I process the files.

Thanks for the tip Shim, will take that advice fully on board. Would hate to be caught short, in this case long .Nice and sharp with a good depth of field. You'd better not leave

And you are right, there were a couple of occasions that I really thought I could do with wider angle but then still squeezed into the 60mm as a push, just out of laziness of putting the bag down, changing lenses etc. .
If I manage to sell the 16-45 I would love to replace it with the beautiful DA*16-50 mm though. That SDM functionality is lovely

Peter, you know what? I had exactly the same impression, but then thought its just a newbie enthusiastic with the new toy seeing things that are really not there .Nice and sharp and good colours too. But now you mention I do find it the colours more vivid yes.
I got a couple I will briefly upload and shows that.

Unless I am wrong evaluating the images, then please let me know.
I think this lens is almost if not as good as the DA*300, in my personal opinion.
Opinions are greatly welcome please.
Thanks
