DA 55mm f1.4 SDM repair cost

Hi, First post to the forum. Anyone have any idea on cost to fix faulty SDM motor in DA* 55 F1.4. This was bought used with fault explained. I can play around with it for 30 mins to 1 hour and the AF will suddenly kick in and work fine. Is this part of the know fault and how much would Johnsons quote to repair? Is there still a Pentax user discount scheme on repaired goods too? They were unable to advise via telephone.

Thinking of selling it for a 50-135mm once it’s back.
