Yes find a slim depth screw in filter and carefully knock the glass out to extend the Colin adapter slightly. A deep one will still cause vignetting.
I personally have ended up just holding the filter in front of the lens. 'Late winter sunshine' of the river at Chatsworth in my portfolio on here(sixth image) is an early example trying out shooting into the sun to test the famed starburst efect when stopped down.
lovely lens, my (filter free) 'Polis Chrysochous Bay' is the same lens this April in Cyprus.

Just an aside, but it might be useful. I also found with a B+W nano filter attached the built in lens hood wouldn't slide out so had to get a wide angle hood. Managed to get a rubber super wide hood that worked. Regular 49mm wide hoods vignetted

Has anybody come up with a work-around for this?
