I have hacked the front slots off a P filter and filed out the inside rim of the holder... and it's not too bad.
But then I bought the Lee Foundation kit and Cokin Z-Pro ND grads
Speedgraphic had deals on three ND grads which made it within reach - but it's still expensive

I use the Cokin P wide angle holder on my 12-24 and find it's only barely noticeable at 12mm and disappears after 13. But then I don't use *any* UV filter on the front so maybe you need to use one or the other but not both?

Been trying out my Pentax 12-24, but am finding that my Cokin P filters, even with a wide angle 1 filter holder still shows the edges of the filter in the picture unless you zoom higher than about 14-15mm.
What do you do?
Have you invested in larger filters? These are expensive though.
I use an ultra slim HOYA UV filter on the front.
Kind regards
Graham
