I think the problem is that its overexposed from the off. Sharpening will enhance the fact its overexposed imo

Cheers Matt, I have lightened it up as I thought it looked to dark,

Do you think thats beter? I personaly thought it looked underexposed?

Thanks greyhound, ime trying to work out, is it because the fur looks to bright in the first 2 that people think its overexposed? ime trying to get my head round the whole overexposed/underexposed thing.
Its like when do you say a image is "to bright" sort of thing, From my POV its a hard call becuase the last one seem to have a lil more detail but looks very dark, brighter one has less detail but at the same time more detail in the fur? so ime still trying to work it all out!

But the pics wernt that sharp (taken hand held on 300mm) and there was a branch in that way.
Ive uploaded a before and after attempt after I canabalised it in photoshop, I think I may have taken it a bit far but what do you guys think I could do to improve it?
