Hi all
This is more of a computer query than photo.
When you want to cut and paste files from one folder to another i am shure there is a way of doing them all together rather than one at a time. The files are in between other files so i cant just select them all.

If you select one file and then on the same row say 3 files further along, hold down shift and then select the last file, all the files will be selected. To select files at random on the same page, select one and then hold down "ctrl", you can then select files at random, right click on any file and choose "copy" then simply paste into new folder.

If you want to be selective in the files you want, and they are NOT consecutive, the answer is to hold down the 'Ctrl' key while you select the individual files (instead of the shift key, which selects all the files between first and last).

I use this method all the time when processing several images.

Good luck

One point to add to what Snappychappy & PeterKR have said, 'Ctrl' clicking can deselect as well as select. So if you have a batch of continuous files with a few scattered among them you don't want, you can click on the first, use shift click to select the last (highlighting all) then switch to control click to deselect the few you don't want.
Make sure you don't end up double clicking any though or you'll end up opening all of them!
