What a lovely looking bird ! First shot is excellent, eye is sharp and DoF perfect - second I'm afraid is under-exposed, or maybe some added fill light in LR or A3 could cure it.

No.1 is a fine shot. So that's what decent light looks like: I'd forgotten!

Nice bird! The 2nd shot is very good, agree it could use a little fill but I like the composition.
