Crepe myrtle

I was going to post this with my other shot with the 100 Macro WR, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, after a little (tedious) time spent in focus calibration, this was pretty much what I was after.

Nicely done. Interesting subject and the background sets it off very well. I like it .

Fascinating seedpod(?). That's what I like about macro - the details of how nature has arranged things. Nice shot and nice, smooth backgrounds.

Yes, I take it to be a seedpod; it's what remains after the blooms on these trees.
