creating a watermark

Subscribing to Digimark and creating a watermark on your on-line pics is two different things...
Digimark allows you to register pictures with them and then allows you to add a tag to the exif so that ownership can be proved.
There is a least one sceeme (cannt remember which web site I found it on) where you can register your picture and a central server will track your picture as it travels over the internet!
However to just add a visible watermark I use FASTSTONE IMAGE BROWSER which is downloadable FREE from http://www.faststone.org/.
Operations such as resizing for the web, converting to JPG, and adding a watermark can all be done in a batch mode with output to new directory.
I find this a realy usfull utility.
