Nice set. I think 4 is my favourite, for the combination of background and bird.

I wasn't sure about the ones with the people in the background, but the birds were (IMHO) too good not to include.
I'd said to the Mrs, "if half of these turn out half as good as I hope, I'll be happy". I don't think my hit rate is as high as 50%, but I'm happy with what I've got.
Only another 500 images to go through!!

We had a day at the falconery centre at Moreton in the Marsh. It's a great place.
Here are some of my shots. The sky was overcast all day, so not a great back drop, but most of the birds stayed low. But by eck, they were fast. Most shots seemed to consist of pre- focusing. Panning and hoping I had the bird somewhere in the frame when I released the shutter. Having it in focus was a bonus!
