Resolution.
Heard nothing for a few weeks and wrote to the head of BBC Scotand yesterday. Today a call from the finance department, "We'd like to offer you £47.50 for the use of your picture". Me, "The BBC normally pay between £120 and £200 for a one UK broadcast, so I think £250 would be more in order". "That's fine, we pay by BACS give me you bank details".

Interesting bargaining technique - shades of the dealers who ask "what do you want for it" during a P/Ex deal because they hope they'll hear a lower figure than they're willing to pay. Not something you'd expect from a respected broadcaster compensating for their copyright infringement!
