It was taken just before 7pm in late May.
No, I am not royalty but I rent a small flat in a converted coach house of a now demolished minor stately home. The landlord had a large farm, most of which he sold in the 1980s (?), but he kept about 70 acres back. If anyone ever walks the Hertfordshire Way you pass within about 100 yards of my door.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Top spot Kris, you must smile every time you step outside. That tree must be getting fairly old...

Lovely taste of summer, Kris. It must be hard to work with all of that glorious countryside (east of the Exe-Tees line!!!) outside of your windows. I at least have to drive/cycle to get out of town, unless you include the parks which are surprisingly good here.
Wonderful to just step out and get a breath of fresh air... just spotted the ponies of "Ponies in the Snow" fame!
Is this a straight 20D digital photo...or a Horseman scan?
Regards,
Andrew

Neither, it is a straight K10D photo. I hadn't bought the K20D then.
Best wishes, Kris.
