Control wheels and grip

Whilst messing about with my K10 this evening, I noticed that none of the control wheels on my camera body were functioning. I tried the wheels on my battery grip and these worked perfectly.
I have read of similar problems in this forum, and, using their advice, I turned the camera off removed the batteries for a bit and refitted them. On turning the camera on again, still the same problem. I then turn off the battery grip and found that all the control wheels on the camera body worked normally again!
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

It happens all the time to me .. bloody annoying.

Sometimes one of the wheels, either grip or body, doesn't quite click all the way to the next notch, so it doesn't register properly. Just make sure when turning the wheels that they register a click firmly as if you leave it halfway between 2 clicks it does confuse the camera.
