Hi,
I am trying to get hold of Asahiphoto to get a repair done on one of my AF280T's. The phone number on the logo at the top of the forum is not valid. I checked their website and used the different number there but no reply. I have been trying for a couple of days. Has anyone else had problems or know of a reason?

It should be 020 8232 8111
I just tried it and it gets answered

Isn't that the same shop as harrowtechnical (website above)? If it is, I think the number is 020 8938 4660

Harrow Technical is completely different. I have dealt with Robin at Harrow technical for sone time and can wholeheartedly recommend him. Unfortunately he couldn't help with this problem and having now got through to Asahiphoto, it seems that they can't either.

Kim,

I have a 280T in pieces. It worked before I took it apart, for reasons I can't recall.

It would appear that the most likely problem on mine is that the main control circuit board is gone. Everything works fine except that no camera will fire it. Even if I could get the replacement board, the cost of a repair is more than the value of the gun. I do have another along with an AF400T. I have used them in multiple with hotshoe grips and a full set of long cords which is why I wanted a replacement. The cost of a "new" multiple setup is both beyond me at the moment and not cost effective for it's use.

I will have to search for a good secondhand one.
