. . . you have overhauled Matt at the number one slot with 2470 posts against 2460.

Cheers,
You need a flash, then you'd have something to do at this time.. . . you have overhauled Matt at the number one slot with 2470 posts against 2460.

Cheers,
As you can see by my posting, I also lack a flash which reduces my shooting time.
I do have a tripod but long exposures are not quite as much fun.

I'm relatively new and already have over 1% of posts and am in the top 20 posters. I really need to find something else to do. I'll take the camera somewhere tomorrow.
This isn't the only forum I frequent, have over 6000 posts (4.25%) Not as bad as the top poster there with 13k+.

Oh I've got flashes, but wifey's gone to bed and the thwack of the shutter going off and what appears to be world war three starting when my guns fire keeps her awake.
Cheers,
Why are women such light sleepers? I could sleep through world war III, my partner couldn't sleep if a mouse was scuttling downstairs (on carpeted floors).

It'd be nice to see Pentax Super-A FIXED in your signature one day. Excellent camera. I had one that became uneconomical to repair. I eventually sold it for a tenner
I'd love to but it is not financially viable at the moment, unless anyone needs an IT technician near Leeds It'd be nice to see Pentax Super-A FIXED in your signature one day. Excellent camera. I had one that became uneconomical to repair. I eventually sold it for a tenner
It is a very annoying bit of damage, metering/information backlight window knock so it is no longer visible. Still usable, I've got an old Seikonic light meter which works perfectly. I'd just rather have the camera in full working order.

Tyr
Im new to DSLR photography and was just browsing this thread when i noticed you have a Super A which is broken, I dont understand the part you say which is broken but maybe i can help. When i purchased my first Camera a K100d and got the Pentax bug. I was talking with a few friends a couple had old Pentax cameras which they no loner use and because the lenses are compatible with the new Digitals they gave me thier old cameras and lenses (nice mates) Well one of them is a Super A which has some problem with the film winder i think he said. I have no use for this camera so if i can extract the part you need (if that is possible) and if you want to hump for the postage from Australia it yours.
Not sure if this is a viable proposition just thought i could help
Cheers

I know where I can get it fixed, just can't afford to do so at the moment. Probably costs the same as the postage from Australia. It took a knock to the 'window' on the top of the pentaprism which made the information screen leave the viewfinder.
