Just tell her it was an investment.
At the price you got the 10-20mm for you could sell it and make a decent profit any day of the week.
Blimey- surely that is not the right attitude! I was happy to sell it to a fellow PU member, obviously on non-commercial terms. I'd hate to think this forum was at risk of turning into a sort of poor man's ebay I just hope that Paul enjoys using the lens. I'm sure he wasn't buying it with a view to profit
It was "supposedly" a humorous comment in a light hearted thread and from Pauls response I presume he took it as such.

Removed mine very early on as I thought it made me seem as if I were gloating. Presently I'm an MZS and 50mm/f2 owner.....

I can go from not buying a lens to buying one in a blink off an eye though but i know i've the range covered with good quality lenses so there is no need to buy one beside fulfilling the want.

You don't seem to have ultra-wide-angle covered.

My wife has just found our bank statement

Pointedly remarking on numerous EBay 'wins' Oops I shouldn't look happy should I ? I remarked that the last and largest of them was a package of 4 lenses and a camera and that by selling the camera and lenses I don't want, the 2 lenses I really wanted worked out at well under market ... she wasn't convinced, or even close.

She hasn't found my kitty for the K5, 18-135 and 60-250 yet thank goodness !

Is this one of those things where you use euphemisms to make things seem less serious than they are?
What's wrong with LBA?
You've got an addiction my friend, not a syndrome. Face the facts

Hi Eduardo Mad

'A culture-bound syndrome is a set of symptoms where there is no evidence of an underlying biological cause, and that is only recognized as a "disease" in a particular culture.'

Buying lenses surely counts.............
